In 16th-17th October, 2018, LAD together with Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Nanjing Agriculture University (NAU), Shanghai Aerospace Technology Research Institute (SATRI) and Municipality of Miao Town, Chongming District, Shanghai, held the international seminar on agricultural development for Chinese rural revitalization strategy.

The seminar are divided into four sections, rural revitalization, agro-economic, facility agriculture and digitized agriculture. During the seminar, WUR and domestic experts from related field made special reports/presentations and discussed together with local government representatives to adapt modern agricultural knowledge and technology for Chinese rural revitalization and try to provide new ideas and paths to solve the issue of agriculture, farmer and rural area in China.

At the end of the seminar, LAD invited all attendees to visit National facility agriculture technology & engineering research center and Shanghai Yingmiao fruit & vegetable cooperative in Chongming Island.
